I am writing to apply for the post that you offer. Allow me to give some details about my qualifications first. I graduated from Heep Yunn School, the top English medium School in Kowloon in 2007. In the School, I am the 3rd among 97 students in terms of English Result, and 30th in Chinese Result. In 2005, I got an A in HKCEE English Language Paper, in which I got 4 A 1 B in all the five papers concerning English. I got a Bin Chinese CE Paper. In 2007, I got an A in HKALE Use of English(SyllablusB), of which I got As in four of the five papers. They are: Listening, Writing, Reading and Language Systems, as well as Oral. I got a C in Chinese Language and Culture, and I got A in Chinese oral and B in Cutlural issues and Reading programme paper.
As for other relevant awards, I am glad to tell you that I am the winner of the 2005 English language and Leadership Award organized by Hong Kong International School on 1 Red Hill Road, Tai Tam. I have spent 2 summers in Hong Kong International School studying English Language, pronunciation and critical essay writing. I am also one of the semi-finalists for the Standard Charter English Public Speaking Competition in Hong Kong.I also got 3rd prize in Chinese Public Speaking Competition in the School in the year 2001 and 2005 respectively.
As for relevant experience, I have been tutoring students ranging from P6 to F5 for about two years, most of them being English speaking students from EMI School or English speaking families in Kowloon Tong. I am patient and I love teaching kids. I have a brother who just finished primary school a year ago, therefore I believed I am capable of tracking and improving your child's performance in the English subject.
